This "Cocktail" Is Definitely Worth The Hype

Let's talk Adrenal Cocktails - the current wellness trend that is spreading like wildfire, and for good reason. If you're anything like me, you struggle with the afternoon slump where you feel like you have absolutely zero energy to give. If so, you're going to want to keep reading - trust me!


What is an adrenal cocktail and what does it do? It is a drink that contains major key vitamins and minerals that your body craves on a daily basis. It works to build up the minerals that your body needs in order to make essential hormones. It also helps to balance the sodium to potassium ratio, while feeding your cells and fighting fatigue. There are numerous ways to make an Adrenal Cocktail, so if you google it you can find a handful of great recipes to explore. The one recommended to me, which I have been incorporating into my daily ritual, is as follows:


  • Orange Juice - make sure to use pulp-free and if you are buying store bought OJ, make sure the only ingredient is oranges (we don't do additives here!) I prefer to get my oranges from the farmer's market.

  • Coconut Water - same thing applies for coconut water, make sure you are buying high quality + pure coconut water. I love Harmless Harvest.

  • Pink Himalayan Sea Salt - this provides sodium which helps to maintain proper adrenal function and regulate stress.
